02 Transfer Credit Evaluation
Send us your official high school and college transcripts, and we’ll determine the transferability of your college coursework and how it applies to your selected major.
03 Visit Our Campus
Schedule your visit and meet with your Admissions Counselor.
04 Apply for FAFSA
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (use Defiance College’s Title IV Code: 003041).
Transfer Scholarships and Awards
Defiance College awards scholarships to full-time transfer students (12 or more credit hours per semester) accepted for admission based on academic performance at all previously attended colleges and universities.
NOTE: Amounts subject to change for the 2021-2022 academic year.
$10,000 – $15,000 Transfer Scholarship Award
Awarded to full-time transfer students based on prior academic performance.
$2,000 Associate Degree Award
Award for full-time students who have completed their degrees at a two-year college or university.
$1,000 Discover Defiance Visit Grant
Available for all full-time transfer students who attend an admissions-related visit during the application process.
