Because we realize costs are a significant consideration when selecting a college, we’re committed to offering you comprehensive financial aid opportunities. As for a return on your investment: 91 percent of Defiance College graduates find positions in the workforce or go on to pursue advanced degrees.

$1,000 Discover Defiance Grant
We are excited to offer first-year, first-time students and transfer students who visit campus a $1,000 grant. The grant is renewable up to four years and will be awarded upon admission to DC. All you have to do is attend one of our admission events or schedule an individual visit and the grant will be added to your current financial award.
Living on campus just got more affordable.
High school students living in northwest Ohio with a 2.8 GPA or higher are eligible to receive the $2,000 NW Ohio Residential Grant, on top of any other financial aid, as long as they plan to live on campus at Defiance College.
Counties include Allen, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, Williams, and Wood.
Merit-based scholarships are awarded to full-time, first-year students, in amounts between $14,000 and $20,000, upon acceptance to the College.
